Daniel 6:23

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

DANIEL 6:23

Daniel’s release is celebrated by the king: no harm has come to him, “because he believed in his God.” The structure emphasizes both Daniel’s faith and God’s protective power. The phrase “believed in his God” foregrounds trust as the cause of deliverance.

Deliverance through belief underscores a central biblical theme: faith aligns human life with God’s power. The narrative frames belief not as mere agreement but as trust that activates God’s action in dangerous moments.

If you feel surrounded by lions, remember that faith—trust in God—matters. Cultivate a daily practice of prayer, Scripture, and community that anchors your trust. When trials come, your unwavering faith can be a powerful testament to others.
