Daniel 6:22

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

DANIEL 6:22

Daniel gives a concise testimony of God’s deliverance: an angel shut the lions’ mouths because of Daniel’s innocence and his upright conduct before God and the king. The emphasis on innocence is crucial. Daniel’s integrity—no harm found in him—frames the miracle as God’s vindication of righteous living rather than mere luck or chance.

The verse highlights God’s active protection of the faithful and the moral dimension of deliverance: Daniel is vindicated because of his integrity and trust in God. This reinforces the concept that God maintains moral order and that righteousness, even under threat, is not unnoticed by Him.

Strive for integrity in daily life: keep promises, avoid deceit, and act in ways that align with God’s standards even when it costs. Trust that God sees your innocency and may intervene in ways beyond human understanding. Your credibility can become a pathway for others to glimpse God’s reality.
