1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Voices of the Bible ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Voices of the Bible is an educational platform that provides Scripture-based content through interactive conversations with Biblical personas, daily devotionals, verse commentary, and Bible study resources. The Service is designed for educational, informational, and devotional purposes.

3. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Not attempt to access accounts or data belonging to others
  • Not use the Service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Not use automated systems or bots to access the Service excessively

4. Account Terms

5. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Scripture text, which is public domain) are the property of Voices of the Bible and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Scripture quotations are from public domain translations including the King James Version (KJV), American Standard Version (ASV), World English Bible, and Douay-Rheims.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VOICES OF THE BIBLE, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Loss of use or goodwill
  • Business interruption
  • Personal injury or emotional distress
  • Any other intangible losses

THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

The content provided by this Service is for educational and devotional purposes only.

Responses from Biblical personas are interpretive representations based on Scripture and historical context. They do not constitute:

  • Professional theological or pastoral counseling
  • Mental health or medical advice
  • Legal or financial guidance
  • Official doctrinal statements from any denomination or church

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voices of the Bible and its owners, operators, affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Any content you submit or transmit through the Service

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voices of the Bible regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
